Privacy policy

How we handle personal data on this website. Last updated: June 2026.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is Linumiz Private Limited. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@linumiz.com. Full company details are in our Imprint.

2. What we collect and why

  • Contact form. When you use our contact form we process the data you submit — name, company (optional), email address, topic and your message — for the sole purpose of receiving and responding to your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you. The form includes a hidden anti-spam (honeypot) field that collects no personal data.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical data (IP address, browser/user-agent, requested page, date and time) to operate and secure the website. This is based on our legitimate interest in reliable, secure hosting.

We do not use advertising or analytics tracking, and this website sets no cookies of its own.

3. Third-party services

  • Web3Forms processes and delivers contact-form submissions to us by email. The data you enter in the form is transmitted to Web3Forms for this purpose. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
  • Hosting provider. The website is hosted by BigRock, which processes the server-log data described above on our behalf.
  • YouTube (Google). On our Open Source page we show video thumbnails served from YouTube, and embedded players load only when you click to play a video (using YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com mode). Playing a video may cause YouTube to set cookies and process data under the Google privacy policy.

4. How long we keep data

Contact-form submissions are delivered to our mailbox and retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted in line with our normal correspondence practice. On the Web3Forms free plan, a copy of each submission is stored by Web3Forms for up to 30 days and then removed. Server logs are retained for a short period by the hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@linumiz.com. If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or applicable law evolves. The latest version is always published on this page with the date shown above.
